Port Huron Boys United Swim Team 87 – South Lake 78

The Boys United Swim Team faced South Lake HS last night, pulling off a win 87-78. In the 200 Free event the Red Dogs took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places with Freshman Wyatt Minton taking 1st followed by Jacob Beerbower and Nolan Odom. In the 200 Individual Medley the Red Dogs again went 1 and 2 with Juniors, Ty Minton taking 1st and Joe Lozano in 2nd. In the 50 free, Junior, Jon Beerbower finished a very close 2nd. The 100 Butterfly saw the Red Dogs in 2nd and 3rd place with Wyatt Minton in 2nd and Joe Lozano in 3rd. Jon Beerbower finished the 100 free with a solid 1st place finish. Ty Minton dominated the 500 free, finishing 1 min 58 seconds ahead of the 2nd place swimmer. The Red Dogs again went 1st and 2nd in the 100 Backstroke with Junior Danny Kennedy taking 1st and Sophomore Andrew Miller in 2nd. Senior Kerig Kearns took 1st place in the 100 Breaststroke and Nolan Odom placed 3rd. Finally, in the 400 Free Relay the Red Dogs placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
